Thanks to the new plant for vacuum thermoforming, one of the biggest in Europe, arranged in the headquarters of P.Plast, the customers are now able to follow the whole production, making changes during the operation.
Buying an anthropomorphic measuring arm allows scanning the surfaces of moulds and moulded parts in order to reproduce mechanisms and prismatic features. The process carried out by this instrument with contact or non-contact measurement capabilities generates a point cloud for comparing it with the CAD model, for rapid prototyping and reverse engineering. The wide scanning beam and the speed for data acquisition increase productivity.
Thanks to the new fully automated plant for vacuum thermoforming, which is able to print up to the size of 2500 x 3500 mm for h 1100 mm, P.PLAST increases its ability to vacuum thermoform items of large sizes into one piece.
Accuracy and focus on quality are the cornerstones of P.PLAST’s philosophy in the Upholstery department, with regard to industrial coating with leather and plastic fabrics. This has been one of the most important activities since the 80s. Now it has started again from the research for the most advanced technologies and new major investments in the latest equipment in order to meet key customers’ needs.
